RA 2014 Year in Review
YOU made a difference in someone’s life last year! Would you be a part of changing another in 2015? Be on the lookout for ways you can get involved in Repair Affair this year!
Through Federal Home Loan Bank’s Accessibility Rehabilitation Program, we were able to assist 11 homeowners in the city of Paducah this year! These projects included new roofs, structural repair, new gas pack units, insulation work, and other repairs that significantly improved living conditions. One homeowner in particular was thrilled to be able to remove rain buckets from around his home after Dean’s Roofing replaced the majority of his roof. We are thankful for the opportunity to assist so many homeowners this year and we hope to have the same opportunity next year. To find out more information on how you can be involved in this program next year, contact us after the first of the year.
A new gas pack unit was installed at this home just in time to keep the homeowner warm during the cold winter months!
Midtown Alliance would like to thank all of the groups who came out and volunteered with us for Project United Fall 2014!! We had 5 awesome groups who demoed and replaced a back porch, demoed and replaced a concrete walkway, prepared a home’s foundation for further masonry work, replaced storm doors, scraped and primed a house, and much more!!
Here is the group from TVA with the happy homeowner
This UK College of Engineering crew were hard at work installing storm doors and helping this homeowner with other projects!
Group from UK’s College of Engineering Paducah campus built these homeowners a new porch in one day!
MSU’s Paducah campus came out to prep this homeowner’s foundation for more masonry work!
The TVA guys made this homeowner’s walkway safer by taking out the old and pouring new!
