A team from UK’s College of Engineering (Paducah Campus) volunteered for a day to replace the rotting back porch. They created a beautiful, safe porch that the homeowners are no longer afraid to walk on!
A group of faithful, hardworking volunteers worked hard for 3 months to overhaul this room! It turned out beautifully and now functions as an excellent laundry room!
These homeowners needed a new hot water heater, but come to find out they also needed new plumbing, some electrical, drywall, flooring, and more!

One of our AmeriCorps members, Joe Wurth, worked with a volunteer to repair the drywall, replace the vinyl flooring, and replace many of the fixtures including a new higher toilet which made the bathroom more accessible to the elderly homeowner.
